I have just started on the new Lucinda Riley novel "The Orchid House". I loved "The lavender garden" so I have really high expectations on this one!
The Orchid house is a story that runs from 1930 to present day. There is two parallel stories, which seems like a style Riley loves to go with, like the lavender garden. Lucinda Riley takes you between the magical world of Wharton Park and Thailand during World War II in her two stories.
The story so far actually reminds me a lot about the lavender garden, and it seems to me like she actually layed an easter egg for "The lavender garden" in it, because I seem to recognise one of the bi-characters.
I'm currently on page 119!

I'll update with a review when I'm finished!
