There is no doubt, my curls are crazy, especially with my bangs and layered hair. And yes curly hair do tend to look a lot nicer when it's layered, but you see a lot more bad hair days. I usually switch up my hair routine slightly for each season, so this is my fall routine.
Starting with the basics, the shower routine
I switch up shampoo and conditioner every time the bottles are empty and depending on the result I want. In fall I usually wear hats or beanies a little bit depending on the weather. Therefore I usually use something repairing which keeps my hair strong, but gives me more baby hairs. But if the weather is warmer and I don't wear hats for at least 20 minutes in the morning I prefer a smoothing shampoo and conditioner to avoid too big hair. I also use hair deep conditioner every time I shower my hair instead of once a week. Previously I've used Moroccan oil hydrating mask, and yes it's a good mask, but I find Joico's hair masks to fit with my hair better when the air is cold.

Prepping
After I've washed my hair I start off using Joicos liquid protection spray, then Joico thermal protection spray all over my hair. This is to protect against humidity and when I straighten it. I straighten my bangs every morning, but leave the rest of my hair alone most of the time, using a straightener from GHD. I don't ever blow dry as long as I can I let it air dry in, and I finish of by gently combing it and applying Moroccan oil to my ends.
To keep it un-frizzed in between washes I use some spritzes of Joico liquid protection spray and curling lotion if it's really bad. And also I use hair oil after gently brushing it every morning.
Thanks for sharing your routine. Mine and yours are very similar! I also try to avoid using heat products on my hair whenever possible.

Yeah it's nice but it can be a struggle, I think most people want what they don't have for some reason!
DeleteAw, I really wish my hair wasn't so straight - and yet I still have frizzy hair problems haha! Can you say unlucky? :')
