The colors of easter

Have a happy and blessed easter to all who celebrate it, I created this eye makeup with the colors of easter specifically in mind to celebrate this joyous holiday. The white is christian symbolic for pureness. And the purple is both a color most people associate with easter and a color that is very symbolic in both jew-ism and christianity. Purple signifies royalty, and it's supposed to bring wealth. It also signifies pain and suffering, and we can see the connection with Jesus's crucifixion.

I am not a personal christian myself if you're curious. But I've grown up in a christianity based society and in a family who valued christian values and rituals even though we don't practice a lot of the religion. So I do celebrate christian holidays, and keep many of the values like being kind and patient (besides you know, judging homosexuals, transgenders and kids who curse;)). Therefore this is mostly a tribute to the holiday, and this is of course wearable for everyone regardless.

  5. Thank you, I am so glad to hear that! As for my absence, I've been working (a lot) and doing school mostly, I got quite burned in both ends, but I am coming back soon promise, I just want to write up a little arsenal of blogposts before heading back so that I can have something to fall back on. (In case it gets overwhelming) :)
