Pushing my limits

Hello, I hope you're having a wonderful day! I myself has been affected with a slight fever, so I haven't done anything to crazy today (other then wearing my new slim sweatpants all day, which looks just acceptable out in the general public, but not really). On that note what I have done is started on my next sculpt and I'm honestly kind of unsure how it's going to turn out. I may have mentioned this earlier but because of the angle I've found moulding a sculpt on a face cast difficult, but I have to learn because no one will do it for me. So after sculpting quite a few successful flat lay pieces I am ready to try again and see if with my new tweaks it will work out and create a better piece then if I was flat laying it. And I know what you're thinking, sculpting in gelatin, why haven't we seen any of that?! LIES!! And to unveil it, I've been living on the few few hours of sunlight on Sundays and skipped a lot of makeup work simply because I didn't get a work lamp until now. And I got my time consuming project with Helmet and Highasakite going on which I've been sculpting a lot for ;) And to make it even better I've even taught myself to use keys in my sculpt so yay! (If you're not a prosthetics artist, I'm sorry for the confusion, but explaining keys are for another post another time).

I am going to test a few different moulding techniques with this so I will probably make a spare, just in case I ruin my original one. AND if the gelatin prosthetic doesn't go bonkers, keep it to use it with a silicone appliance! By the way, this isn't the finished sculpt, but it's taken pretty much the right form in this picture, and it's in moulding right now, so it will probably be next weeks video depending on how much work I have this week.

A cup of my favorite beverage to work, my must have

  1. That looks quite good! I'm no expert but I know I wouldn't be able to do that for sure!
